This machine has been developed to separate the pepper berries from the stalks. This process reduces labour cost where only one person is required to operate the machine. The Pepper Thresher could be powered by three types of prime movers. In addition to this, the pepper thresher powered by the engine ( where rpm can be adjusted ) is suitable to extract seed as planting material from the following fruits, beans and pods. Brinjal, Tomato, Okra (Ladies fingers), Chilies, Wing-beans, Soya-beans. The trails show the mechanical damage to the seeds is less than 5% and the germination percentage is above 90% for the above crop seeds. |
