The fiber and coir dust can be extracted from the dried coconut husks without soaking the husk for a prolong time. The mattress quality fiber can be used for various industries and the coir dust for agricultural purposes. The coir dust extracted from the machine is relatively rich in potassium since no soaking is done prior to processing. Additional advantages of dry processing are water-ways and ground water not getting polluted and no obnoxious gases are evolved and mosquito breading is not encouraged.
